How to make creamy, homemade butter! You'll never buy store bought again!

There are very few things I like more than butter (cheese & bread for sure!). But this homemade butter is off the charts delicious! Creamy, just enough salt and spreads deliciously, almost like a thick, decadent whipped cream! Just two ingredients an 10 minutes of your time will leave you swearing off store-bought butter forever!

When making butter, you're looking for the "break". It takes about 10 minutes to reach this point, so the video is a tad longer (8 minutes! EEK!). Feel free to fast forward to the end! But hang in there until then so you can see the full process. It's so cool!

Here's how we do it! Let's cook!

Ingredients:

Yields: 1 cup butter

2 cups heavy whipping cream

1/4-1/2 tsp kosher salt

*You can add other ingredients to customize like minced garlic, rosemary, oregano etc! Be creative!

This butter will last in your refrigerator for up to a a month.

Once the butter "breaks" you will need to drain it thoroughly to get as much liquid out as possible.

Transfer back to the mixer to continue whipping.

Add 1/2 tsp salt (and other seasonings if you wish to customize) to your delicious butter. Season to taste. Continue whipping for 3-4 minutes until it becomes creamy and smooth.

Once it looks whipped (2-3 minutes) like a heavy frosting, it's ready!

Spoon it into a container with a lid and get ready to experience something wonderful on your steamed veggies, homemade bread and biscuits!

Wa-la! Creamy and delicious! No additives or fillers... just cream and salt like the good Lord intended.

Dig in Y'all! YUM.

Let me know what you think!
